King Stephen's mummified hand? You're not making this up? Is it on display somwhere, or is there just a plaque above a vault? "Here's lies the hand of Stephen, King of Magyars?"

Beautiful building, by the way.

Digitalicat: no joke - it is on display in the side chapel, in a gilded thingie. It is the king's actual hand from 1012AD or so. Once a year the priests run around the city with it in a procession.

g.d: it is the king's hand! I thought of stealing it to heal people with it... you know... run around in intensive care with a mummified clawlike skeletal hand and touch people with it.

That would be awesome, Pig. That way, when you get out in 10 years or so, you can tell us what Hungarian prison is like!
